Testimonials:

BENTBROOK BOXERS

We are so pleased to hear that Bobbie Smith will soon begin a business of training young dogs for the Show Ring. I
personally have known Bobbie for several years and have found her to be a very reliable and extremely capable young
woman . She has done an outstanding job preparing her own young dogs for the show ring and has impressed me as well as
others with her ability in handling and training young dogs. I am looking forward to placing some of my own young show
prospects in her very capable hands.

Good luck Bobbie!

MINSTREL BOXERS

The thing that people who cherish their canine companions want most of all is for them to be safe.  The second is that
they be well-trained and cooperative with their human stewards.

Not being a super trainer myself, I've had occasion to send a puppy elsewhere to learn the ropes of the dog show world.
Having only rarely sent a dog away even with a handler, because I harbor an innate fear for their safety when
anywhere but in my care, I did this only because of the extraordinary trust I have in the person doing the training --
Bobbie Smith of Brandiwine Boxers.

In fact, I honestly can't think of a better place to send a pup to get it ring ready.  Bobbie is more than committed.
She's more than conscientious. She's gifted.  Add to that the fact that she's totally focused on the task at hand (about
which she is passionate) and you have all the ingredients for exceptional success.

I've known Bobbie for over four years, now, and can recommend her, as both trainer and caretaker, without the
smallest reservation.  Anyone who'd like to may contact me with any questions they might have about the experience
their dog will have at Camp Brandiwine. :-)

SIXES BOXERS

When the co-owners of the pick bitch from my first litter decided to send her to Bobbie Smith for show training, I
couldn't have been more excited. I knew that they were giving Sue the best chance possible to become all she could be.
Bobbie sent us all updates often, that included not only how her training was going but also tons of photos of life at
Brandiwine. It was wonderful to see her stacked up like a pro and also cuddled up to the Brandiwine Boxers. We knew
that Sue was not only learning a ton but enjoying every second of it and most importantly being loved like one of the
family. After only a week with Bobbie they were at Sue's first real show and in the WB ring. We couldn't have been
more proud of the two of them!! Thanks again Bobbie for helping Sue shine!!

Show Ring Training
I am excited to announce that I am now offering professional conformation show ring training in my home in Brookville,
PA.  I have been training Boxers in conformation for the past 6 years.  I've been very successful turning the show
prospects I've been entrusted with into really great showdogs for their owners, including my own.  Some of the honors
the dogs I've trained have achieved are Best Puppy In Show (1st show @ 6 months old), 2 First Place Class Placements
at the National Boxer Specialty (in '08 & '09), BOB & BOS over Specials at an All-Breed Show (Judges Everett Dean
and Pete Dawkins), 4 Futurity Class Placements at the Boxer National, 3 Regular Class Placements at the Boxer
National. I've also owner-handled two of my dogs to a Best of Breed honor in PA, as well as Reserve to a Major with my
6-9 puppy dog, along with a Best Senior in Sweepstakes at a Boxer Specialty.

I offer complete conformation show training to get your show prospect able to perform confidently and competitively.
I work out of my home where your dog is kept just as my own are -- as much loved family members.  I do not have a
kennel on my property.  The dogs are truly allowed to be a member of our pack, both canine and human, when staying
with my son, Tristan, and me.

I incorporate all aspects of learning how to be a show dog while they are here, which includes not only show ring training,
but also crate training, traveling with me to any shows I may be doing during their stay, proper socialization, lead
training, proper house manners and potty training for the pups.  I am well versed in post- surgical ear care for my
cropped visitors and I also am experienced in natural ear care, as well.

I also have expertise in grooming, having been responsible for my show dogs, as well as those of many others, including
the 2007 ABC Reserve Winners Dog,and the 2010 ABC Best of Winners.  Nails are kept well dremmeled, ears and
teeth cleaned regularly, and coats beautifully conditioned and kept show trimmed when dogs reside with us for training.
As I said earlier, they are treated exactly as I treat my own. They become family.

Exercise is provided daily both on location in our suburban backyard, and on long walks in neighboring parks and fields.

There are two Veterinarians very close to my home should I need them.  The Brookville Vet Clinic is 5 minutes away
and Animal Health Services is only 15 minutes away.  I use both these Vets with my own Boxers.  I also have access to
Specialists in State College, PA -- only 1 1/2 hours from my home. Generally, I accept only one client dog at a time and
complete their training before another is scheduled to arrive.  Depending on the age, I will take two young pups
simultaneously, but no more than that.
