~Dusty's Show Record~

Dusty was Certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals as homozygous N/N with two
NORMAL copies of the gene associated with Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) susceptibility on
October 22, 2008.

Dusty had his 24 Hour Heart Holter on 10-31-08 which was evaluated by Global Telemedicine and
this testing revealed ZERO (0) PVC's.

Dusty was found to be Thyroid NORMAL by Michigan State University on 10-22-08.  Kent R.
Refsal,DVM phD Professor, Endocrinology reports the following on Dusty's Report:  Circulating
concentrations of thyroid hormones and thyroid stimulating hormone are normal and do not provide
support for a diagnosis of hypothyroidism.  The negative autoantibody results further decrease the
likelihood of lymphocytic thyroiditis in the thyroid glands of this dog.

Brandiwines Distilled Spirit was examined at our National Specialty on May 6, 2008 by Dr. Kathryn
M. Meurs, DVM, and Dusty's Auscultation is within Normal Limits.
He was found to have No Murmur and Dusty's Doppler revealed a flow rate of 1.7.

This is my very first homebred AKC point and it is so deserving as you can see from
this gorgeous picture  of Dusty :)  Thank you, Dan, for pointing him from the puppy
classes.  It's my first ever AKC point showing a puppy as well!

In 2008, with limited showings, Dusty earned four points towards his AKC Championship and a Puppy
Group 4 at the Genesee Valley Kennel Club, Hamlin, NY on July 5, 2008.  Two of these points came out
of the 6-9 Puppy Dog Class and two came out of the 9-12 Puppy Dog Class.  I brought Dusty back out in
2009 by taking him to our National Boxer Specialty in Ft. Mitchell, KY.  Here is where Dusty really
turned it on and took 1st Place in the American Bred Fawn Dog Class under the expert guidance of
Michelle Pinsker Yeadon!   Dusty then came back out in September and I owner handled him to a BOB
award!  Dusty proved he wasn't done yet and just two weeks later, he showed brilliantly and was
awarded his first Major Win!  This dog really knows how to show and loves doing it each and every time.
Dusty has now earned 10 points towards his AKC Championship and has alot of fans out there rooting him
on to his becoming a Champion

Brandiwines Distilled Spirit
Very stylish dog, sound and a good mover, keeps his top line on the move. He is a
dog who uses what he has very well.  Could do with a stronger blackmask.
