Shandown's Chances Are X Faerdorn Dust Devil

the youngest bitch entered for Boxers in this particular show. We started out as the only 9-12 beat
Class bitch so I knew we were in for Winners! This was exciting because even though I didn't have to
the first time ever handling my own puppy, this to me was GREAT!beat anyone to get to Winners, I was
going to get the chance to be in the ring twice that morning! For the first time ever handling my own
puppy, this to me was GREAT!
Under Judge William J. Bailey Demi and I walked out of the ring that day with a RWB ribbon in hand
and a huge smile on my face! Can you believe that I was going to get MY picture taken that day? I
can't tell you how exciting this win was for me! Thanks a bunch Demi! You are truly Mommy's little
showgirl!

In the Sweepstakes under Judge Barry Wyerman, Demi went 2nd out of 15 total puppies! In the Regular Classes under Judge William Hargreaves, Demi went 2nd out of 6 bitches! She was second on this day to only one other bitch and that was her littersister, Minstrel's Dust Up, "Bicker". Then on Sunday in Sweepstakes, Demi came out and took 3rd place out of 16 total puppies under Judge Steve Fox. In Sunday's Regular Classes, Demi again placed 2nd in the 6-9 Class under Judge Peter Delano out of 6 total bitches. Demi showed me that she really loves the showring and that she can go out and strut her stuff anytime when asked! Marylou really enjoyed handling her this weekend and Demi and I knew that we were going to have some fun and exciting times to come!

Demi was entered at our National Show in 2007 that took place the week of May 7-11.
In the Futurity, 15-18 Months, Brindle Bitch Class, Demi made the final cut out of 12 total bitches
entered. Mr. Daniel A. Buchwald was our Futurity Judge that morning and he did a fine job at judging
some pretty tough classes all day long. Demi was handled to the cut by Jody Paquette.
Gorgeous weather again and Demi and I were going to give it another try together. On Saturday
under Judge Norman B. Kenney, Demi was owner handled in the American Bred Class and we went all
the way to being awarded RWB for the day! I was very thrilled for another exciting win and couldn't
wait for Sunday's show. When Sunday came, we were again showing in the American Bred Class. This
time Judge George J. Heitzman would do the honors and award us WB & BOS. We didn't win any
points though because we needed to go BOW for the single point. Even though we didn't get that
point Sunday, we still had a wonderful time showing and talking Boxers to all our friends we hadn't
seen in awhile. I ended up with blisters on my heels from showing Demi that weekend, but it was
definately worth it because I just love showing this precious girl when I can!
